On Thursday 11th June, Year 5 and 6 pupils from Glasllwch Primary School took part in a Pupil Participation Network Meeting at St.Julians Primary School.
The children, from Years 5 and 6, presented their 2014-15 Enterprise project ‘Health Yourself’ and shared their ‘Healthy Tuckshop’ Enterprise project from 2013-14. The children presented their projects with confidence and enthusiasm – well done!
Whilst we were there, the children also listened to Pupil Participation presentations made by children from a number of other Newport Schools. They enjoyed taking part and came away from the event with some great ideas!
Visitors at the event included Sarah Morgan (Deputy Chief Education Officer), Councillor Deborah Davies, Lisanne Saladino (Participation Officer) and Rhys Cornwall (Partnership Officer). They were very impressed by all of the children’s presentations.
Thank you St.Julian’s Primary School for hosting the event – we had a fantastic afternoon!
