Pupil Development Grant Strategy Statement

All Welsh Government Grants are regularly scrutinised by the Governing Body, supported by advice from the EAS and monitored by the Local Authority.

This statement details our school’s use of the PDG for the 2025 to 2026 academic year.

It outlines our strategy, how we intend to spend the funding in this academic year and the effect that last year’s spending had within our school.

Schools in Wales receive a grant from Welsh Government, Pupil Development Grant (PDG), specifically for the purpose of reducing the impact of poverty on educational achievement and ensuring high standards and aspirations for all.
