These are our current school improvement priorities:
Improvement Priorities 2025-26
Leadership | To grow leadership capacity within school ensuring leaders at all levels (including learners) are empowered to develop professional practices which contribute positively to the realisation of our school vision and aims, whilst supporting the wider-system. |
Learning & Teaching – | To further develop pedagogical approaches ensuring all learners are supported in developing learner effectiveness, increasing their self-motivation, self-regulation, resourcefulness, reflection and resilience in becoming ambitious capable learners, ready to learn throughout their lives. |
Curriculum & | To continue to design and deliver a coherent and progressive curriculum which aligns to the principles of progression, where purpose-led learning experiences within authentic and relevant contexts enable learners to become ethically informed citizens and enterprising creative contributors. |
Well-being, Equity & | To ensure high levels of well-being and engagement within our school community through development of a whole-school approach to well-being which establishes: sustainable and effective partnerships; promotes an anti-racist culture; and ensures appropriate support and provision for all learners, supporting them in becoming healthy, confident individuals and informed citizens of Wales and the world. |
Our School Development Plan sets out the strategic aims for our school for the following three academic years. School improvement priorities are formed in response to ongoing self-evaluation involving all stakeholders.
