Curriculum Celebration

On Thursday we welcomed Year 2 parents/carers to our Curriculum Celebration. The children spoke with confidence, sang and danced with enthusiasm, and thoroughly enjoyed showcasing their learning from across all areas of the curriculum. It was a superb celebration of the children’s achievements and the fantastic progress they have made this year! Da iawn!

Year 4 visit to Cadbury World

This week Year 4 visited Cadbury World to launch their summer term enquiry 'How does chocolate arrive on our plates?' - they had an amazing time and are very excited about learning more back in school! Thank you to the parents who supported this visit. Diolch!

Sporting Success

This week the children have participated in a variety of sporting events…

On Thursday some of our Year 5 children took part in an U10s Tennis Competition at Firbank Tennis Club. The children played brilliantly and showed excellent sportsmanship. Our teams came joint 4th place out of 8 teams. Da iawn!

On Friday our Y5/6 Netball Team took part in a Newport Schools Tournament at St. Julian’s Primary School. The children were exemplary – in a really competitive pool. During the tournament they scored over 10 goals! They played for the tournament plate but just missed out. All children represented the school amazingly well and showed excellent sportsmanship.

Thank you so much to all the parents who were able to support with transporting the children to these events. We could not attend without your support.
