VE Day Celebrations
Yesterday in school we celebrated the 80th anniversary of VE Day. Flags flew during the day and the children looked fabulous dressed in red, white and blue. In classes the children learned about VE Day and we held a special assembly to remember this significant occasion.
Welsh Workshops for Parents
This week Criw Cymraeg held a Welsh Workshop for Y3/4 parents and carers. The children did a fantastic job of showing the parents some of the Welsh activities which we do in school and teaching the adults some key Welsh phrases. The feedback from the session was overwhelmingly positive. Thank you so much to all those who attended; we look forward to future sessions. Diolch Criw Cymraeg and Mrs Logan for organising and facilitating the session. Da iawn!
Year 4 visit to Cadbury World
Yesterday Year 4 visited Cadbury World to launch their summer term enquiry ‘How does chocolate arrive on our plates?’ They had an amazing time and are very excited about learning more back in school! Thank you to all the parents who supported this visit. Diolch!
PTA Silent Disco
We are looking forward to the PTA Silent Disco tonight at 6:30pm. Please do come along and get involved. School continues to rely on much needed funds raised from the PTA. Thank you!
Gwent Music Projects
This term we are pleased to have Gwent Music in school working with children in Y1 and Y3. The children in Y1 are taking part in a Strings Project and Y3 have been doing some Samba Drumming! We look forward to watching the children develop their musical skills as the term progresses.
Good Luck Mrs Ali
Today Mrs Ali finished school to go on maternity leave. We wish Mr and Mrs Ali all the best at this exciting time.
Welcome Mrs Walshe
